poo poo kachoo!

yei WIP time AGAIN :D  for a t-shirt design for dig. illustration

yeii grabbed it from my sketchbook, tweaked with PS, and live painted in illustrator--not fully finished
and this color scheme is definitely from something i've seen before...i'm not sure it's curious george or something....


anyhoo...i've been trying to work very studiously but the HEAT WAVE this weekend just came out of no where--on top of me having a cold (which is wearing down and i'm absolutely feeling better now!) Almost normal but for a few cough attacks) and once again i let the weather and my cold get the better of me....i really gotta stop doing that...
no a lighter note (haha maybe it isn't) i've decided to take a break from fb~i thought it might help me be more efficient and stop wasting time on a site i hardly ever communicate to anyone through

-_- ah so wednesday of this week was so dreadul...

i caught a cold...and the only person that i have been around that had a cold was this old lady in church who just kept on coughing uncontrollably in the pew behind me...and i don't think she was covering her mouth because her coughs weren't muffled....

but anyhow.....tuesday night, i just had so much snot stuck behind my nose (that feeling you get when there's something stuck behind your throat and you keep on swallowing and swallowing or blowing your nose but it just doesn't seem to want to budge then on wednesday, all of that junk just started pouring out

i ended up doing my FIRST homework assignment for one class last minute which i absolutely HATE!
i was overcome by my cold the night before, i couldn't really decide what to do with this portrait thing....i'd started it the week before but i left it like 1/4 done until tuesday night and then i had to get a rush print job =_= AHHH DAMMIT this does not reflect well on me...but anyhow...

the cold is dying down but now i feel like there's snot stuck in my breathing hole LOL XD

Little Tokyo adventures

oyoyoyo!!!

another short adventure before school completely ruins my life....

anyhow... i took a lot of shots with my camera but mainly just for reference and compositional ideas.

but anyhow i was able to hang out with keyk :3 kekekeke we had an awkward fun time together XDDD
of course we had to eat ramen at orochon...because it makes sense to eat hot things in hot weather
i'm pretty sure at some point neither of us had feeling in our tongues or mouths XDD so spicy!!!

we also went to the moca museum and they kind of ripped us off because half (rather 3/4 of the museum) was closed because they were putting in the new pieces of art and they still charged us the full price of a student =_=
but whatever art and sculptures they were erecting honestly looked a lot more interesting than the current exhibit that was going on

last but not least we went to go eat and draw at the mochi/gelato shop...the mikawaya or something O.o the name's already slipped my mind--please forgive/correct me if i'm wrong >_<

anyhoo we were just ordering our ice cream and eating peacefully...next thing you know we became friends with the manager and the ice cream shop server waiter people XD ahh i dunno how to refer to them...it was a very awkward fun time XD

i didn't take pictures of what we drew TTATT ahh "sad day" as keyk and her sis say
but they gave us free mochi/dango (one or the other >< ) and even containers to take them home with us XDD sooo we definitely have to come back and draw more things for them and plaster their faces with our awesome artists alley stuff! :D and next time we won't forget all our supplies =A= DAMMIT WE'RE OLD!!

I also kind of understand what my mom feels like when she brags about me to other people XD i found myself doing the same thing to keyk--- ahhaha (if that's what you call it)...is it wrong to be proud to know that your friends are also very talented in many things? XD ahh i feel guilty for kind of yanking her out of her shell >_> but I'D LIKE THE WORLD TO KNOW (or at least the people that matter)!! 

but the manager and all of the employees were extremely nice (btw the manager's laugh just kills me and is EXTREMELY contagious XDD but it totally sounds like it has some voice acting quality) and generous and we will definitely force them to draw in keyk's sketchbook again...ALL OF THEM INCLUDING SHE WHO WEARS GLASSES AND THE OTHER MISSING PERSON!!

a dream i had a while back~i had three in one night and i actually remembered them all

for some reason i just knew that i was at the americana parking lot which was empty.
my dad was in his car, in the passenger's seat waiting for me to drive.

I was standing outside of the car and I saw two tigers standing across from me straddling those signs with orange and white stripes with orange reflectors on top. haha and that was that.
