 Expressive type project inspired by sans serif fonts

-x- ahh this was really tough to do because out of all my classmates, I had the most letters in my logo and it was one of the few logos with a lot of curves-- it was also really difficult to clean up the curves when i made a mistake in inking so some of them showed up in the print


despite that my instructor wasn't really impressed ;_;
it was probably the worst in the class



=_= i feel like i'm really struggling in his class and that
my roughs always come out messy-- and somehow all my other classmates can just easily impress him

when the raindrops were bigger, it was like the little girl was being pelted with gigantic pieces of hail XD

i have been wanting it to rain for a while and it has!! :D
there's no particular story behind it =_= somehow i feel like my creativity just gave me the slip and ran away after first term 

ahhh *face to palm* i used to like making up stories and now my brain is just blank but maybe it's just that with illustrator you have to think more graphically

i'm doing my best to just focus focus focus
it's not a good thing but i'm kind of disconnecting myself from my 'social network'
sadly -- it does help a little i hate to admit
but right now i really need to pull up my grades (not that they're bad, just not good enough for me to get into the track that i want) i completely screwed myself over first and second term- and that's tuition money and time wasted
 i invested a lot of time doing things that didn't help me get my homework done =_=

yeii grabbed it from my sketchbook, tweaked with PS, and live painted in illustrator--not fully finished
and this color scheme is definitely from something i've seen before...i'm not sure it's curious george or something....


anyhoo...i've been trying to work very studiously but the HEAT WAVE this weekend just came out of no where--on top of me having a cold (which is wearing down and i'm absolutely feeling better now!) Almost normal but for a few cough attacks) and once again i let the weather and my cold get the better of me....i really gotta stop doing that...
no a lighter note (haha maybe it isn't) i've decided to take a break from fb~i thought it might help me be more efficient and stop wasting time on a site i hardly ever communicate to anyone through

-_- ah so wednesday of this week was so dreadul...

i caught a cold...and the only person that i have been around that had a cold was this old lady in church who just kept on coughing uncontrollably in the pew behind me...and i don't think she was covering her mouth because her coughs weren't muffled....

but anyhow.....tuesday night, i just had so much snot stuck behind my nose (that feeling you get when there's something stuck behind your throat and you keep on swallowing and swallowing or blowing your nose but it just doesn't seem to want to budge then on wednesday, all of that junk just started pouring out

i ended up doing my FIRST homework assignment for one class last minute which i absolutely HATE!
i was overcome by my cold the night before, i couldn't really decide what to do with this portrait thing....i'd started it the week before but i left it like 1/4 done until tuesday night and then i had to get a rush print job =_= AHHH DAMMIT this does not reflect well on me...but anyhow...

the cold is dying down but now i feel like there's snot stuck in my breathing hole LOL XD
